About Cherika Ramsey

Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, my journey has taken me from the basketball courts to the finance world in ways I never expected. I was fortunate to earn a basketball scholarship to California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB), where I graduated with a degree in Biology. While basketball will always be a passion of mine, a few too many injuries have forced me to take a seat (for now).

 These days, I prioritize my time helping achieve the dream of homeownership. I chose this path to help families and to uplift my people. In many ways, minority communities are stuck behind the 8-ball in financial access, and that shouldn’t be the case. I’m passionate about being a representative for minority communities in the loans industry. By bringing a deeper understanding of unique challenges, I aim to build trust and create a sense of comfort for clients who may feel more at ease working with someone who shares their background and experiences. It's not just about loans; it’s about empowering people, promoting inclusivity, and breaking down barriers to financial resources.
